Medicare Supplement Insurance, also known as Medigap, helps cover costs that Original Medicare does not, like coinsurance and/or portions of other deductibles. Medigap plans supplement your Original Medicare plans, so you must have Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B to get Medigap. Benefits can include no network restrictions, coverage when you travel, and/or more predictable costs.
What is Medicare Supplemental Insurance?
Medicare Part B is part of Original Medicare and covers medical services and supplies that are deemed medically necessary to treat your health condition. Overall, Medicare Supplemental Insurance is a type of insurance that provides supplemental insurance on top of Original Medicare, which is the federal program that provides health insurance benefits to older individuals or those with a disability or End-Stage Renal disease.
Disclaimer
Medicare Supplement plans may require underwriting and enrollment is not guaranteed.
PLEASE NOTE: Medicare Supplement insurance is available to those age 65 and older enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B and, in some states, to those under age 65 eligible for Medicare due to disability or End-Stage Renal disease.
The purpose of this communication is the solicitation of insurance. Contact will be made by an insurance agent/producer or insurance company.
Medicare Supplement insurance plans are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.
